Our southern region Business Development Manager, Shaun Verhelle, recently participated in the Florida Association for Pupil Transport (FAPT) Conference. During this conference, school districts from all over the state come together to learn about new technology that can keep our children safe during transportation from home to school.

Implementing an AMS Smart-Tread solution helps identify minor tire wear issues before they turn into emergency roadside flat repairs or dangerous blowouts. Proactive maintenance and monitoring keeps kids safe by mitigating the risk to children who ride school buses and other public transportation services every day.

According to FAPT, in the state of Florida alone, over 1 million children ride the bus to school each day. The association’s mission is to provide vision, leadership and services to the student transportation community. The goal is to improve safety, efficiency and service to Florida’s public-school children.

AMS was thrilled to be a part of the conference and we enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by the booth.
